Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch its next major product called Guerilla 450 in the next couple of weeks. The upcoming 450cc roadster was recently teased through multiple social media posts which confirmed its debut on 17 July 2024 in Spain. Ahead of its launch, images of the Guerilla 450 have gone viral on the internet.

The latest image has reportedly been clicked at a TV commercial shoot for the Guerilla 450 in Spain. The spy image shows two units of the Guerrilla 450 which reveal several crucial details regarding its variants, features, and colour options.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Variants, colour options, features

For starters, the two units shown in the image don very distinct colour schemes– a red and gold dual-tone shade, and a matte grey option. The former is most likely the top-spec variant and the latter with a single-tone paint scheme is either a mid-spec or base variant of Guerilla 450. This is also emphasised by the equipment on offer.

The dual-tone variant comes equipped with the same fully-digital instrument console as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Therefore, it means this variant is expected to benefit from  features like Bluetooth connectivity, call and text alerts, music playback, in-built navigation via Google Maps, ride-by-wide, multiple ride modes, and a USB charging port.

On the other hand, the single-tone variant comes with the simpler circular semi-digital instrument console seen in Super Meteor 650, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350. The instrument panel is seen flanked by the Tripper Navigation pod which offers turn-by-turn navigation. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether this will be an optional add-on or will the Tripper Pod be available as a standard fitment in this variant.

Barring a USB charger, most of the other features are not likely to be made available in the lower variants. Other highlights like the rotary dials on the switchgear, round LED headlights, LED winkers will stay common across the lineup.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Hardware & Powertrain Specs

From previous teaser and spy images, it appears the Guerilla 450 rolls on both 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels adding a hint of compactness which are shod with block pattern tyres. The teaser images shows Guerilla getting telescopic forks up front and a preload adjustable rear monoshock. Braking duties will be handled by a disc brake at the front and rear.

Like the Himalayan 450, the Guerilla 450 will be powered by the same 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled Sherpa series engine. In the adventure tourer, this motor kicks out 39 bhp at 8,000rpm and peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm. However, for the upcoming roadster it may receive a different tuning with slightly different outputs. Transmission duties will be carried out by a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Expected price & rivals

We expect Royal Enfield to price the Guerilla 450 starting around Rs 2.30 lakh and go up to Rs 2.50 lakh for the top-spec variant. When launched, the Guerilla 450 will take on the likes of Triumph Speed 400, Harley Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440, and Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z.
